COUNTRY TREASURES

Sunrise in the country is a lovely sight for it's summertime, and everything is bright. The morning glory and rambling rose delight my eyes and tickle my nose. Pansies, petunias and sweet peas too, just took a bath in the morning dew. Lilacs and zinnias and bright marigold sweeten the air as thier petals unfold. The meadow's alive with the buzzin' of the bees, and a choir of bluebirds sings in the trees. Red hollyhocks are growing so tall beside the sunflowers by the old mill wall. A hummingbird's come to visit awhile... just watching him fly brings me a smile. The fragrance of peach is suddenly there on butterfly wings much lighter than air. Each day is a treasure, a sight to behold, and moments like these are better than gold.
